The Regulatory Compliance team ensures every product meets global regulatory requirements while maintaining excellent performance.

In this role, you will validate wireless designs against complex and evolving global regulations, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to optimize performance within regulatory limits. Description

You will define the validation plan and optimization of wireless designs across Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other advanced technologies. You will conduct RF testing, analyze results, and develop strategies to ensure products not only meet China regulatory requirements but also deliver exceptional performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test cases to evaluate RF performance of WiFi, Bluetooth, and other connectivity technologies , focusing on key user-impact metrics such as communication distance, throughput, latency, and stability.
  • Analyze test results to identify performance gaps and collaborate with hardware, software, and system teams to implement improvements.
  • Perform RF radiated and conducted testing in accordance with China regulatory requirements to ensure certification readiness.
  • Document and communicate findings clearly, providing actionable recommendations for product optimization and design feedback.
  • Define and operate RF and protocol testing environments, including spectrum analyzers, OTA chambers, signal generators, and Wi-Fi sniffers to validate RF and protocol performance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Hands-on experience operating RF test equipment, including OTA chambers, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and call boxes.
  • Working experience with WiFi RF performance validation and analysis.
  • Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English, including technical writing and presentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with wireless regulatory compliance testing, such as SRRC, FCC and CE.
  • Solid understanding of Wi-Fi standards (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and wireless communication fundamentals (RF, OTA, Antenna technologies).
  • Experience in of WiFi performance optimization.
  • Experience in developing test methodologies and automation frameworks, including Python-based scripts.
  • Deep understanding and testing experience across Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G technologies.
  • Experience in influencing regulation and standardization.
