New Product Operations is pivotal to the dynamic development and launch of Apple’s products. A successful NPO Manager is a natural leader and facilitator; is driven, organized and detail oriented; excels in program/ project management; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous environment; is adept at facilitating actions and resolving confrontations; leads through relationships and influence: and displays grace under fire.

Description

You will support the Team and support NPI development, factory & equipment bring-up, program management, support core process, quality teams and other functional organizations within Apple. We will be responsible to support the successful launch of the product towards meeting it’s stated schedule, quality, equipment availability and customer experience.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Support Apple team's new product introduction efforts within the Operations sphere. Specific goals include assistance on supply chain design, schedule, cost, quality, availability and order cycle time goals

- Help on engagement with OEM manufacturing partners to develop, ramp and introduce products

- Work with team members from across all functions within Operations to develop new product plans - typical functions include WW Planning, GSM, Cost, TPM, Quality, SQE, TE, DFM, Regional Product Teams, Ops, Finance

- Assist to represent operations with the product design teams. Help the team by using manufacturing expertise to influence and drive the design for manufacturability, supply chain, testability,

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industry experience.
  • BS or MS degree in Engineering or MBA or equivalent experience
  • New Product Introduction / Supply Chain Management / Manufacturing Operations / Development or Operations Engineering / Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to succeed in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent program management and communication skills.
  • Exceptional ability to build relationships; data-driven and willing to take action; enthusiastic and motivated; and detailed while managing several work streams.
  • Ability to work in a highly ambiguous fast paced environment -Proven ability to influence cross functionally without authority/title -Ability to travel internationally
  • Ability to provide presentations to executive staff
  • Knowledge of massive data analysis, machine learning would be a plus.
