Description

Appleʼs WW Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. This in turn, enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. We are, in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers.
As part of the AppleCare Business Development team, you will be the strategic and analytical lead for AppleCare business development initiatives across APAC. Through detailed analysis and creative insight, you will Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve performance and scale the attach of AppleCare products. Coordinating closely with our WW Strategy & Analytics team, Product Marketing, Finance and Reseller Sales teams throughout the region, you will deliver innovative sales strategies and incentive programs. You are part taskmaster, part data scientist and part epic storyteller, and your contributions in this role will bring to life new business opportunities and perspectives, shaping the AppleCare business for years to come.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the collation of market trends (driving forces, evolving consumer behavior and sentiment, macro economics, reseller and channel performance etc.) to translate relevant forces into business implications and executable strategic plans
  • Support the design and creation of key internal communications and presentations including quarterly business reviews, executive briefings, sales forecasts and team meetings. This work includes storytelling across both business and financial plans and initiatives.
  • Maintain reporting to track program results to the intended business outcomes.
  • Project manage special strategic initiatives from inception to completion. This will often include close cross functional collaboration with WorldWide teams
  • Scale knowledge across teams and be the go-to expert on what is impacting the business
  • Foster the needs of the APAC market with headquarters to promote understanding and buy-in from key stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, business development or program management in the technology, telco, insurance or retail sectors.
  • Outstanding business acumen for identifying areas of improvement with consistent track record of developing and delivering strategic initiatives.
  • Knowledge of relevant market drivers across the value chain; deep understanding of extended warranty and device protection services in the consumer electronic and carrier segments
  • Ability to understand and articulate the big picture while maintaining exceptional attention to execution details
  • Strong quantitative and decision-making skills with ability to synthesize and distill large amounts of data into concrete action plans.
  • Comfort with ambiguity. Resourcefulness and flexibility to drive programs independently, marshaling required resources from a complex, matrixed organization
  • Excellent presentation, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Passion for designing customer service experiences that will surprise and delight our customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in consumer/business intelligence, consumer product marketing, product management, commercial management, market research, and /or planning.
  • Strong capabilities to develop new business models, simulate scenarios, and build innovative offer or consumer propositions and communications
  • Fluency in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai or other regional language
