As an iPad/Input System Program Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of prototype builds, including materials planning and factory readiness. You will need to establish daily build schedules and distribution plans to support the overall project plan for builds. You will also partner closely with multiple teams across Apple and vendors to understand key design changes requiring validation to accurately integrate engineering validation needs into the system build matrix.

Description

This individual contributor role will have significant responsibilities in making decisions, collaborating with multi-functional teams, vendors and suppliers around the globe during the entire development cycle

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive factory build calls to make sure factory execute as expected from first prototype through engineering design validation stage
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration, including design team(EE/PD/RF..) and operation team to make sure project schedule, build goals been delivered
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to handle complex build matrices and micro schedules
  • Communicate and present in various forums to wide ranges of audiences
  • Understand and deal well with rapid development cycles. Be passionate and creative, remain flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty. Explore, navigate through ambiguities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years working experience in hardware engineering or operations program management
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • Industry experience in hardware engineering program management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles and constant change and remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty while fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities with the ability to drive the team forward
