The WW Apple Retail Engagement, Marketing & Merchandising (REMM) team defines, makes and delivers programs, campaigns, initiatives and experiences that help Apple Retail’s customers and teams discover, be inspired by, learn about and go further with Apple’s products and services, and does so in a manner that is true to our values.
Retail Engagement, Marketing & Merchandising are looking for an experienced Events Producer to join the team to bring to life a series of Internal Meetings and Conferences across the calendar year. The successful candidate will have a love of creating community and connection while ensuring these meetings are delivered on time, to budget and reflect the extremely high standards in place across Apple.
Description
In this role, you will be responsible for producing a series of pivotal internal meetings across Apple Retail. These include, but are not limited to: Monthly Team Meetings, Global Quarterly Communications Meetings (in-person and virtual), and the annual Global Retail Conference.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of internal event production for various events including but not limited to scoping, creating and managing timelines, sourcing venues, managing rehearsal schedules, developing detailed Run of Shows and vendor research/contract negotiation.
- Work cross-functionally with key partners and stakeholders across Apple including but not limited to Corporate Events, PR, Creative, Ops and Production.
- Manage attendee and guest speaker experiences and operations on rehearsal days and event days.
- Manage updates and comms to senior leaders throughout multiple phases of any project.
- Manage on and off-site contractors required to help execute an event to the standards we expect. Create, manage and reconcile budgets both those owned by REMM and those owned by our partners to ensure events are executed within agreed upon budget and scope.
- Manage post event debriefs with all stakeholders to ensure we're learning as we execute each event, modernizing our ways of working where we can, and maintaining our high standards across all we do.
- Develop bespoke processes and workflows as needed to deliver on the brief and scope of work
- Cultivate innovative thinking by keeping updated on industry insights, experimenting with emerging tech, and staying curious
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years global production experience within the entertainment industry, in-house at a globally recognized brand or at an events agency
- Experience with a variety of types of events across including in-person, virtual and hybrid with a recent focus on Internal Meetings & Events
- Expert in articulating strategic and creative intent to others, driving development of the work and partnering with teams to bring ideas to life.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of functional expertise.
- Demonstrated understanding of experience design, creative development process and creative production.
- Demonstrated project and budget management in a creative organization with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience with Talent and Executive Management
- Proven track record leading and managing complex projects and events across multiple locations from ideation to execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Creative problem solver with experience working across complex matrixed organizations
- The desire to consistently innovate, proactively bringing new ideas to the table – both strategically and in execution.
- Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Experience managing multiple activations at once, each with individual stakeholders
- Experience managing all logistical aspects of event production, including venue selection, catering, transportation, AV equipment, and talent travel
- Successfully led on-site event staff and volunteers, ensuring smooth operations and excellent attendee experience.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,800 and $274,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
