Compensation Business Systems Analyst (24 Months Contract)
Description
Meta is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with analytical and operational experience to work on systems-related business needs that support the Compensation Team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will help develop and maintain tools to provide data and analytics to the greater Compensation team.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional owners, regions, and engineering) to design, test, and implement solutions aligned with business objectives and support strategic initiatives by applying systems knowledge, identifying opportunities, and developing or enhancing compensation systems Gather requirements from stakeholders, translate business requirements into functional requirements, collaborate with cross-functional partners on design, and develop business requirements documentation Support system testing, develop UAT plans, and coordinate training activities to ensure successful solution deployment and user adoption Obtain a thorough understanding of our data sources and collection methods, and provide consultation and subject matter expertise on compensation data Utilize knowledge of Workday, BI Tools, relational databases, and Excel to build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics. Monitor the integrity and validity of the data reported Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data aggregation, and the presentation of data to go beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support, and execute business decisions Analyze trends in compensation and build intelligence through reporting Work with large amounts of data and build tools to streamline our processes Support results by providing data to measure key operational metrics Manage the intake of ad-hoc reporting requests Support the group with system reporting, audits, security administration, data loads, data warehouse reporting, and SharePoint administration
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience BS/BA in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline 7+ years of experience in compensation, finance, consulting, investment banking, or a similarly applicable field Systems experience, database knowledge, and reporting skills required 3+ years of Workday experience Experience in Excel, including experience building analyses and models required Data analysis, business analysis, communication and collaboration skills required Experience in designing and developing reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Cognos or other similar data visualization tools strongly preferred Experience using Workday to create advance reports or experience in Advanced Compensation a plus Experience using Salesforce a plus Understanding of data models for reporting and dashboarding. Experience in relational databases and SQL strongly preferred Familiarity with VBA, especially as it relates to Excel and its object model, or programming/scripting knowledge a plus Project management experience preferred
Compensation: $123,000/year to $179,000/year + benefits
