Responsibilities
Conduct detailed financial analysis to influence business investment decisions Provide analytical support and develop actionable insights throughout the product development process, from concept to launch Drive data-driven decision-making and analyze strategic roadmap investments for wearable products, including partnerships, licensing, and M&A opportunities Develop Product P&Ls with practical experience and understanding of cost drivers and long-term strategic implications for wearable products Offer insights through scenario-based P&L modeling, surfacing risks and opportunities for wearable products Lead ad hoc strategic and operational projects, driving process improvements and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains Foster business partnerships across various functions within the Wearables team, including product, hardware engineering, software development, marketing, and sales Develop financial reporting for leadership and drive executive forums to influence financial decision-making for wearable products
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in business strategy, finance, or management consulting Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or a related analytical field Experience in data analytics, data visualization, and scenario-based analysis, with a focus on wearable technology or consumer electronics Experience leading cross-functional projects with stakeholders, including product leaders, marketers, and operations teams Experience in financial modeling utilizing Excel and PowerPoint Demonstrated communication skills with experience engaging executive leadership and product leaders MBA or MS in a quantitative field, such as engineering, computer science, or statistics Experience in a management consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth tech company, preferably with a focus on wearable technology or consumer electronics Hardware Financial Modeling experience, with a focus on wearable products or consumer electronics SQL experience, with a focus on data analysis and visualization Experience in consumer electronics or technology, preferably with a focus on wearable products or emerging technologies
Compensation: $103,000/year to $154,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
