Description
This internship provides an exciting opportunity to apply your legal knowledge in a dynamic, real-world environment. This is a role to support the daily work of Apple legal department (i.e., Legal and Global Security team, LGS). We encourage candidates of different personal and background to apply for the role.
You’ll develop practical legal skills while gaining valuable exposure to a variety of legal domains and jurisdictions. You’ll also have a unique insight into how in-house legal departments operate within a fast-paced, tech-driven company. Working alongside diverse teams, you’ll be at the forefront of tackling innovative legal challenges in an ever-evolving industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on laws, regulations, legislation development, court decisions, judicial interpretations and policies, and provide relevant legal information and news to the legal team members.
- Assist in analyzing simple legal cases, join discussions with team members, and provide preliminary legal opinions.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing and translating legal documents.
- Help prepare and organize case files for hearings, transactions and applications.
- Assist with various administrative duties, including managing legal department archives and preparing presentations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Fourth year undergraduate student or master program student from a law school.
- Available to join internship for 6-8 months and 4-5 days a week.
- Excellent research and communication skills, both verbally and written (in both Mandarin and English).
- A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude and a desire to contribute to the team.
Preferred Qualifications
- China Legal Professional Qualification.
- Experience in multi-tasking and project management.
- Knowledge and passion about AI and LLM (Large Language Model).
- Strong curiosity and sense of humor.
