Logistics Standardization Manager
Description
Meta is seeking an experienced Logistics Standardization Manager to focus on Data Center Field and Warehouse logistics processes. This person will be responsible for working closely with field logistics leadership, data center leads and contract labor to help develop and implement consistent and scalable processes and analytics for greater consistency in global field operations. This is a highly impactful position which requires a proven track record of success in partnership, communication and collaboration skills and an inclination towards process optimization in complex environments. The Process Integration Team engineers and standardizes scalable solutions to Meta’s data center logistics operations with the aim of enabling efficient growth. We do this by collaborating, innovating and assisting our field teams at all life stages of a data center – design and construction, stand up, run-ops and decom.
Responsibilities
Develop, refine, and maintain documentation to promulgate safe and effective data center logistics operations Proactively identify operational gaps, engineer smart and scalable processes and distribute across data center regions Iterate upon operation and system gaps to ensure warehouse and vendor entities maintain SOX compliance, data security and safety Liaise and partner across data centers and headquarter teams to improve system functionalities Partner with regional field leads in implementing best-in-class data center operations and tooling Influence change management delivery, ensuring business process improvements achieve standardization 25% travel required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations management, business management and/or any other related field, or equivalent work experience 5+ years experience in operations, program management, consulting or data analytics Experience in as-is/to-be business process mapping, gap analysis, requirements elicitation and data analysis Experience in cross-functional collaboration or managing partner relationships Experience of consistently working under your own initiative, seeking feedback and input where appropriate Experience handling PM responsibilities (Prioritization, planning, scheduling, status reporting) Experience with analytics platforms such as WMS, TMS, ERP, or MRP systems Communication, problem solving and interpersonal experience Understanding of data center environment Experience leading LEAN, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing environments
Compensation: $115,000/year to $163,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
