Cloud Renewal & Expansion Account Manager, NA

The Cloud Renewal & Expansion Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth across Oracle Cloud accounts by securing timely renewals and expanding customer adoption. You will manage a defined customer base within Oracle Cloud Product Pillars, overseeing the full sales cycle from opportunity identification and qualification through contract negotiation and closure. Key objectives include maximizing annual contract value, securing long-term renewal agreements, and achieving on-time contract closure while maintaining focus on both near-term and multi-quarter renewals. In addition, you proactively identify and successfully close upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand client footprint, ensuring sustained growth and customer success.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Background
• Strong track record of sales accomplishments leading commercial negotiations in a quota-carrying role.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
• Exhibits high levels of motivation and self-drive, maintaining a positive attitude and proactive approach to achieving targets.
• Ability to excel in a high-energy, quarterly-results driven sales culture.
• Proven expertise working with the executive level in client environments, as well as with procurement and business owners (sales, HR, service orgs.).
• Experience with cloud-based/SaaS business process solution offerings.
• Understanding of legal terms in SaaS contracts (at a minimum, contract experience in Enterprise Software or Technology Service agreements).
• Understanding of accounting and financial principles such as Budgeting, Payment Orders, ROI, TCO-based Selling.
• Team player who will work within the company to continue improving organization processes.
• 5 Years sales experience in technology-based company.
• Intermediate / advanced Excel skills, experience in PowerPoint and CRM systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead the renewal & expansion sales cycle from proposal stage through contract booking.
• Prospect, progress and close upsell/cross-sell opportunities within the existing client base, by articulating the value of Oracle solutions.
• Identify “at-risk” renewal clients early in the cycle and construct the action plan to ensure a successful, timely renewal.
• Generate pipeline and progress it to close, by maintaining a high level of engagement with customers through phone calls, emails and virtual meetings.
• Achieve/exceed quarterly renewal & expansion targets.
• Accurately forecast quarterly renewal & expansion revenue.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline status and forecasted opportunities .
• Collaboratively work across internal LOB’s to achieve objectives.
• Provide continuous feedback to management on both successes and challenges of the business.
