The Marketing Compliance & Governance Advisor will ensure that all Marketing activities in Latin America are executed in full alignment with Oracle policies, privacy requirements, and internal audit standards. This role connects Marketing LAD with the Compliance, Privacy, Legal and Governance ecosystem, helping the team operate safely, efficiently and with agility.

This advisor combines project management discipline, compliance expertise and problem-solving skills. The expectation is not to block execution, but to enable it, finding compliant paths, removing obstacles, guiding marketers through complex processes and ensuring documentation, approvals and governance are consistently in place.

The role requires high organization, strong communication, the ability to manage multiple requests in parallel, and a mindset focused on solutions, not barriers.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in compliance, governance, internal audit or risk management (preferably in global or regulated environments).
  • Strong project management capabilities: ability to coordinate multiple requests, prioritize, follow up and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to solve problems and unlock execution while staying aligned to policies.
  • Knowledge of GDPR/LGPD and data privacy practices (preferred).
  • Comfort interacting with legal, privacy and compliance teams.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • English: Advanced (mandatory).
  • Portuguese: Native/fluent (role based in Brazil).
  • Spanish: Intermediate.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Compliance & Governance

  • Coordinate all Compliance-related topics for Marketing LAD, acting as the main point of contact for local Compliance teams.
  • Guide Marketing teams through Ethics, PS, Privacy and T&C requirements for events and activities, ensuring all approvals are obtained correctly.
  • Support CSSAP, Privacy Reviews and Data Sharing Approvals when needed.
  • Ensure that activities involving data, platforms and systems follow Oracle privacy rules.

Internal Audit & Documentation Quality

  • Lead periodic internal audits of Marketing processes, documentation and data retention.
  • Evaluate the quality and completeness of materials retained by Marketing teams.
  • Identify gaps, risks or deviations and propose actionable improvements.
  • Maintain all evidence, documentation and governance artifacts required for corporate audits.

Process Governance & Project Management

  • Build and maintain updated policies, workflows and SOPs in a structured repository accessible to all Marketing teams.
  • Manage multiple requests simultaneously, ensuring timely follow-up, prioritization and delivery.
  • Support marketers in identifying compliant solutions to move forward with their activities (“finding the how, not the no”).
  • Partner with Operations Advisors and Excellence Advisors to ensure processes remain scalable, consistent and properly documented.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work frequently with Field Marketing and Regional Events teams to guide execution in a compliant manner.
  • Interact with Digital Marketing on topics involving tools, tracking, cookies and privacy.
  • Connect with Marketing Compliance WW, Privacy & Security Legal and Litigation as needed to close complex or higher-risk topics.
  • Support the resolution of complex or sensitive compliance situations, providing direction, risk assessment, and clarity to ensure timely and policy-aligned solutions.

Training & Continuous Improvement

  • Deliver training to Marketing teams on compliance expectations, data handling and audit findings.
  • Recommend process improvements based on audit results or recurring challenges.
  • Promote a culture of compliance, documentation discipline and proactive governance.
