At OCI platform organisation, our mission is to provide core platform services for OCI cloud and customers. We’re emabarking on ambitious new initiative to sclae our tier-0 services for 10x growth. We are looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in distributed systems and highly available services. Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply advanced knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems acccording to provided design specification. You will collaborate with principal engineers and architects on the team to build out next gen platform dataplane. 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or relevant techinical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong experience and detailed technical knowledge in PaaS engineering.
  • Distributed cloud engineering experience in a software development environment
  • Experience developing service-oriented architectures and web services security solutions
  • Development experience in Java/C++, C# as well as scripting languages
  • Experience working with other cloud platform teams and accommodating requirements from those teams (compute, networking, search, store).
  • Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences
  • Comfortably in a collaborative, agile development environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development, specifically within a cloud environment
  • Familiarity and understanding of distributed computing and cloud-based platforms.
  • Understanding of cross-functional platform feature areas in cloud platforms.
